Picking up Speed

I'm starting to think I've passed over the hump of stress and am beginning to get things done, and every minute that passes is one less that I have to wait for the inevitable goodness that I know is coming.

I managed to pick up a bed for over a hundred dollars less than I planned on paying. Alicia gets the hero award for this week for being willing to hang out at my new place on Thursday while I'm at work to make sure it all gets in. Moving will probably commence Thursday evening after I get off work, though if I'll be done packing by then remains to be seen. If anyone has any free time and wants to help out, gimme a call. This would also be a good time to make donations, though if I need to come pick them up, I will. Don't go out of your way for me.

If anyone is selling/knows someone who is selling a used recliner, speak up. Dad's coming this weekend, and it would be nice if neither of us had to sleep on the floor.

Unfortunately, Mom is still in the hospital, and probably for longer than we anticipated. It turns out she has more than one stone, and they're both rather large. Getting rid of them is a tricky matter, and her condition only makes it more difficult. I'm hoping she'll be out by Friday, but at this point it's anybody's guess.

Whether I'm reaching the end or not, I still wish it was already over. . .
